Meet Grace, The Planner and The Professor

A tour of the three assistants included for every family.

A persona is an assistant with its own personality and purpose. Grace includes three: Grace, The Planner and The Professor. Parents choose who may use each one.

Included for every family

Grace is the everyday assistant. It speaks in plain language, draws on your family’s documents when they help, and says so when it is not sure. For legal, medical or money decisions it points you to a professional.

The Planner is a calm organiser. Tell it about a trip, a party or a school week and it turns that into a plan, a checklist or a timeline, asking one question if something is missing. It is the assistant behind every Family Project, so a project’s chat always knows the project’s documents and goals.

The Professor is a tutor for every age. It explains step by step and shows an example before the rule. When a child asks for help with homework, it guides them toward the answer instead of handing it over.

Parents choose who uses what

On the Account page, parents pick which personas the family uses and can limit a persona to specific members.

Web search and creative tools are add-ons, not personas

Web search and image and video creation are not personas, and they are not included with the three assistants above. They come as two optional packages that add to your family’s assistants:

  • Web Access adds web search, with sources shown, so an assistant can answer questions that go beyond your family’s documents.
  • Creative Skills adds image and video creation.

Each package is $8 per family per month. In Parent tools, choose Account, then Packages to buy a package and turn it on. Buying a package does not turn it on by itself. Our post on Web Access and Creative Skills explains how buying, switching on, pausing and cancelling work.
