Children’s privacy

Last updated October 17, 2026

Draft, pending legal review. This text is not final. Bracketed items are still being confirmed.

In plain language

A parent creates and manages your child account. Your parent can review your chats and set limits. If a parent joins a chat, you can see their participation. Grace uses other companies to help store information and generate answers. Do not share passwords, private photos, or information you do not need for your question. Ask a trusted adult for help if something feels wrong.

Information about children

Grace processes the account information a parent supplies, such as a name or username, family membership, and account settings. Managed child accounts do not need their own email address. Chat messages, attachments, AI responses, and relevant family documents are processed to answer questions. Usage and security information help apply limits and protect accounts.

How it is used and shared

Child messages are checked by an automated safety model. Prompts, selected conversation context, and relevant document or image content may be processed by AI providers. These systems can make mistakes and do not replace adult supervision. See AI transparency and service providers.

Parents manage accounts and can review child conversations. Other participants can see content shared in a discussion. Adult and senior accounts have different privacy controls; being a parent does not grant access to their private chats.

Parent choices

Parents can manage child access, limits, and permissions, and can remove or deactivate an account through available controls. Use our contact form to request access, correction, deletion, or help stopping further collection. Do not include a child’s conversation history or sensitive documents in an initial request; we can arrange an appropriate follow-up.

Removing access is not the same as immediately erasing every record. Family-shared content, necessary billing or security records, and backups may require separate handling. The privacy policy explains the retention questions still being finalized.

[The parental notice, verifiable consent process, consent records, retention schedule, and required operator contact details must be confirmed by the legal and operations owners.]

Creating an adult account, paying for a subscription, or acknowledging these pages is not itself a representation that all required parental-consent steps have been completed. This notice does not certify COPPA compliance.
